Modernization of 36/3 and 36/4 residue oil deasphalting installations is performed.

The goal

• to increase installations productivity on feed;
• to increase phase mass-exchange effectiveness;
• to increase deasphalting oil yield.

Technical solution

• replacement of extractors with the new ones of bigger diameter and height produced by IMPA Engineering Ltd;
• use of regular packingRN-IMPA-01 produced by IMPA Engineering Ltd;
• use of redistribution of streams;
• use of feed preparation devices with jet mixers SSR-IMPA-01 produced by IMPA Engineering Ltd.
